Surgical Technology is an instructional program that prepares an individual to serve as a member of the surgical team to work with surgeons, anesthesiologists, certified registered nurse anesthetists, registered nurses and other surgical personnel in delivering patient care and assuming appropriate responsibilities before, during and after surgery.

  • Located on the Oxford and DeSoto campuses
  • Associate of Applied Science Degree – 2 years
  • Vocational Certificate Program – 1 year

Program Information

The NWCC Surgical Technology program has not made a determination on whether the degree meets the state educational requirements for other US States, Territories, or the District of Columbia.
