Surgical Technology

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent

• REQUIRED Have an ACT Composite Score (English, Math, Reading, & Science) of 16 or greater on file with the Office of Admissions and Records.

• Complete application for admission into Northwest
  Note: (Includes sending ALL high school and college transcripts)
• Obtain your NWCC Student ID after completing your NWCC application. If you have a NWCC Student ID and not sure if your application is still active, log into your MyNWCC account. If you cannot remember your NWCC Student ID, go to www.northwestms.edu, students tab, MyNWCC forgot my ID. 
• Complete and submit the Program Application. 
  Note: If you wish to apply to both campuses, complete one application for each campus.  Please do not complete multiple applications for the same campus.
•  An Objective Scoring Tool will be utilized to score each applicant who has met the minimum required admission criteria.

It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure all items have been submitted and received prior to the application deadline.  You may contact Leeann Elrod at lelrod@northwestms.edu to check the status of your application.  Incomplete applications will not be considered for admission into the program.

Note: The student is responsible for providing a current email address and frequently checking the email account for communication.  Applications must be made each semester.  If an applicant is not admitted in a given application cycle, the applicant MUST reapply the next cycle to be considered for the program.
