Diesel Technology

• Complete an Application for Admissions to the college.

• Complete an Application to the Diesel Technology program.

• Have a high school diploma or GED/HISET equivalency on file with the admissions office and confirm that admissions received it. 

• Have official ACT scores sent to the admissions office. Students must have a composite score of 15.  

• Contact the Diesel Technology instructor for program details. 

• Upon acceptance into the program, a Negative 5-panel drug screen must be submitted no sooner than July 15th. Failure to submit a negative 5-panel drug screen or submission of a positive 5-panel drug screen will result in a forfeit of seat in the program. (Drug Screen Policy & Test Result Form)

Admissions to the college does not guarantee admissions to the program of study.

Kubota Tech Integration in Diesel Mechanics Technology 

The Kubota Tech opportunity, integrated into the Diesel Technology program, offers students a specialized pathway to earn industry-recognized certifications focused on the repair and service of Kubota equipment. This unique training provides Diesel Tech students with the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to pursue careers as diesel technicians in the off-road diesel industry. 
 

Certifications Include: 

• Brakes, Steering, Suspension (BSS) 

• Electrical Systems 

• Engines 

• Hydraulics 

• Maintenance Procedures 

• Powertrain

• Preventative Maintenance Inspection 

• Product Delivery Inspection (PDI) & Assembly 

Career Opportunities:

Graduates of the Kubota Tech program will have the opportunity to work as Kubota technicians at dealerships across the country. This pathway offers job placement, excellent earning potential, great benefits, and an outstanding working environment. Graduates will apply the skills they have learned through the program to deliver high-quality service to Kubota dealers and customers.

Path to Success: 

Students pursuing the Kubota Tech pathway will earn an Associate of Applied Science degree in Diesel Mechanic Technology, along with specialized training and certifications. This will provide them with the expertise needed for a successful career as a diesel technician at a Kubota dealership.
