Coding Technology

• Complete an Application for Admissions to the college.

• Apply for the Coding Technology program.

• Have a high school diploma or GED/HISET equivalency on file with the admissions office

• Must have an ACT English subscore of 17 or have successfully completed English Composition I.

• Have official ACT scores on file with the admissions office

• Confirm with the admissions office that high school transcript or GED/HISET transcript and all previous college course transcripts have been received in the admissions office.

• Pay any outstanding balances to Northwest MS Community College or any other college. 

• Contact an Information Systems Technology instructor.  

Admissions to the college does not guarantee admissions to the program of study.

Coding Technology Curriculum 

• Students who successfully complete 30 semester credit hours earn a career certificate.

• Students who successfully complete 45 semester credit hours earn a technical certificate. 

• Students who successfully complete 60 semester credit hours earn an Associate of Applied Science degree.
