Industrial Automation Controls Engineering Technology

The Industrial Automation and Controls Engineering Technology program is designed to prepare graduates for careers in the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of automated manufacturing and data-driven control systems. This program introduces the fundamentals of electricity, electronics, digital techniques, electrical power, robotics, fluid power, servo systems, and multi-platform programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Students also develop skills in data acquisition and smart manufacturing technologies aligned with Industry 4.0 to support advanced automation in a field that is continuously evolving.
