Commercial Electrical Technology
The Electrical Technology pathway prepares individuals to install, operate, maintain, and repair electrical systems. The curriculum provides instruction in electrical troubleshooting and the development of problem-solving skills in industrial electrical procedures, programmable logic controllers, and process control.

How do I get into the Commercial Electrical Technology program?

Complete an Application for Admissions to the college.

Complete an Application to the Commercial Electrical Technology program
- Have a high school diploma or GED/HISET equivalency on file with admissions office
- Must have an ACT subscore of 17 in math or be eligible to enroll in Intermediate Algebra or receive department approval
- Confirm with the admissions office that high school transcript or GED/HISET transcript and any previous college course transcripts have been received.
- Pay any outstanding balances to Northwest MS Community College or any other college
- Submit a current negative 5-panel drug screen after July 15th.
