Early Childhood Education Technology
The Early Childhood Education Technology program provides preparation for a professional career in early childhood education spanning a variety of career options. This discipline includes classroom instruction, supervised laboratory experiences, and work-based learning experiences. Students will develop competencies that enable them to provide services, teach, and guide young children in various early childhood professions.

The content for the Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential is embedded in the Early Childhood Education Technology course work.

Note: Jobs are available for students who complete this discipline in public, private, corporate or parochial early childhood education programs, including those in public and private child care centers that serve children of all socioeconomic levels and abilities.
How do I get into the Early Childhood Education Technology program:
- Comply with the criminal background check procedure mandated by the law of the State of Mississippi.
- Submit a completed Immunization Record Form 121 obtainable from the State of Mississippi Public Health Department.
