Welcome to Academic Pathways
Northwest offers classes in many different disciplines, coordinated by six academic instructional areas: Business Instruction, Fine Arts Instruction, Humanities Instruction, Social Science Instruction, Mathematics Instruction, and Natural Sciences Instruction. Students in the General College Degree Plan follow educational pathways leading to transfer to a four-year university or college. Degree plans for specific four-year programs are listed under the corresponding discipline. Course requirements for each degree plan are provided in the degree map. Specific courses related to your area of focus can be verified at the transfer University. Students should contact their advisor or faculty advisor for details. The degree plans provide a foundation for transfer, students are responsible for confirming that all courses meet the specific requirements of their intended transfer institution.
