Club Interest Form
All students are encouraged to participate in student organizations on campus. Many opportunities in various areas of interest are represented. Below is a listing of active student organizations. For more information, contact the Student Services Office. Registering and remaining a student club/organization allows access to all benefits available such as permission to use college facilities, maintaining an agency account for financial purposes, holding campus fundraisers, and participating in Homecoming and Mr. and Miss NWCC elections.
In order for a club to become or remain active:
- All student clubs/organizations must first be recognized by Northwest Mississippi Community College.
- Click here to complete the club registration form.
- To retain the status of an established organization - as a current advisor, you should complete and submit the registration form in the link above. Any changes in the organization’s constitution or by-laws and statement of purpose should also be submitted at this time by email to studentservices@northwestms.edu.
- For new clubs/organizations - the proposed club/organization’s constitution or by-laws and statement of purpose, along with the registration form, should be submitted to the Dean of Students. The material will be reviewed and if it is deemed compliant with Northwest clubs and organization expectations as outlined in the Bulletin, approval will be granted as a sanctioned Northwest club/organization.

Description - Alpha Delta Nu Nursing Honor Society recognizes the academic excellence of students in the study of Associate Degree Nursing. The society encourages the pursuit of advanced degrees in the profession of nursing as well as continuing education as a life-long professional responsibility. Additionally, the society participates in the recruitment of qualified individuals into the profession of nursing.

Les Fauves Art Club

Description - Les Fauves functions to promote art in the area. Among the projects of the club are art exhibits, art sales, and campus beautification. Anyone who is taking at least one course in the Art Department is eligible for membership.

Description - Mu Alpha Theta is a national high school and two-year college mathematics honor society dedicated to inspiring interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics in high school and two-year college students.

Description – The NW Gamers Club is designed to bring Northwest Mississippi Community College students together through a shared interest in video games.

NWCC TRiO
Campus – Senatobia
Description – The NWCC TRiO organization at Northwest Mississippi Community College provides opportunities for students to pursue their personal, professional and academic goals in a student-led organization. To enhance their educational experience, students are encouraged to participate in service-learning activities that allow them to develop personal and professional relationships, learn leadership and organizational skills, and serve the community. Members of the NWCC TRiO organization must be participants in the Student Support Services (SSS) program at Northwest. SSS is a federally-funded program aimed at helping students graduate and transfer to a four-year institution.

Description – Northwest Education Association is an organization through which young people can become knowledgeable of opportunities available through a career in education. It is a way to enhance and facilitate school and college university relationships. The club shall promote a positive image of education to students, parents, and the community and shall disseminate information about the teaching profession.

Description - Northwest Players Club is an organization through which individuals strive to generate interest in theatre in the Northwest area. It provides opportunities which help develop dramatic talents. Membership is open to all students who are interested in theatre.

Description – The Residence Hall Association is an organization that provides a voice to NWCC students in a concerted effort to promote programming and activities which are reflective of the student vision, in addition to, regulating processes and protocols in correlation with abiding by NWCC Student Code of Conduct. RHA will serve as a liaison between residents and administration.

Neurodiversity Support Club

Description – The Neurodiversity Support Club provides connections for people in the neurodiverse community. This open form/support group will allow those with neurodiversity, parents of children who are neurodiverse, teachers, helpers, counselors, and instructors of people who are neurodiverse, and friends and family of children who are neurodiverse to connect, share, support, and guide each other through the challenges associated with this issue.

Religious Opportunities
Northwest Mississippi Community College is a state-supported institution and is therefore nonsectarian. However, the student at Northwest is encouraged to develop spiritually through the religious opportunities provided both in the community and on campus. College students are invited to attend and take part in the activities of the local churches. These churches extend a cordial welcome to each student and to faculty members, many of whom take an active part in the church organizations of Senatobia and the larger community. Students are also invited to participate in the activities of one or more of the following campus religious organizations.

Faith and Fellowship for Nursing Students
The purpose of the organization is The organization is designed and operated for the purpose of allowing students to have a peaceful environment where they can come together to pray and worship as they develop and demonstrate a servant’s heart and mindset. Students can discuss their faith and enjoy the fellowship of like-minded future nurses as they progress through the nursing program and prepare to be the hands and feet of Jesus while caring for their patients.

Student Government Association
As integral members of the Northwest community, Student Government Association members participate in the College’s decision-making and planning processes. A Student Government organization exists on each Northwest campus to discuss issues of importance to students and to make recommendations to the College administration. Such recommendations are reviewed by the administration and incorporated into planning. In addition to serving as active members of the Student Government Association, students are represented on a variety of institutional committees. By active participation in these decision-making bodies, students assist Northwest in improving and expanding its services to the campus community.

Student Recruiters
Northwest Pathfinders - Northwest Pathfinders are students that serve as goodwill ambassadors for Northwest Mississippi Community College. Members are involved in activities directly related to recruiting and public relations. Some of their activities include conducting campus tours, visiting area high schools to recruit potential students, participating in community outreach projects, attending college days/nights at area high schools, assisting with special meetings and events on campus, participating in phone calling campaigns to recruit prospective students and many other recruiting and public relations activities.

Description: The purpose of this organization is to provide veterans, service members, dependents, survivors, and all other members of the College’s military community with the resources, support and advocacy needed to succeed at Northwest Mississippi Community College as students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Additionally, our goal is to be a force of change and multiplier at the College in regards to veterans’ affairs.

Men of Excellence at Northwest C.C. (M.O.X.)
The primary purpose of this program is to mentor, ensure, encourage, and motivate underrepresented male chief roles on a local level and to establish and use leadership skills that will enhance not only themselves but all those that they encounter. Our primary goal is not only to succeed in all endeavors but to excel beyond typical expectations of the norm.
