Recreation & Intramurals
Looking to stay active after class?
Northwest provides a positive atmosphere with multiple facilities on campus in which students can feel comfortable to explore healthy ways of improving their social skills, physical abilities, and mental aptitude. Whether students are discovering them for the first time, or rediscovering their love for exercise and sports, Northwest has you covered. All full-time students can participate in intramural sports, campus activities and use the fitness facilities free of charge. Participants must have a valid NW ID card.
Get in the game with a variety of men's, women's, and coed leagues, tournaments, one-day events, and special activities throughout the academic year. Students have the opportunity to register as an entire team or as individuals that can be paired up with other students to form teams.
Northwest offers a variety of sports and activities for everyone regardless of skill level or experience, sometimes up to 20 options, including flag football, dodgeball, kickball, tennis and soccer. Northwest also offers less traditional options, such as beach volleyball, cornhole, ping-pong, ultimate frisbee and Esports.
