A student may not have enough financial aid to cover all their charges. If a student has a remaining balance, they can pay their remaining balance out of pocket or they do have the option to apply for a student loan through Financial Aid.

The past due balance must be paid in full before a student can register for classes.

If you would like to use MPACT funds to pay for your tuition and allowable fees, the MPACT form must be completed prior to the semester starting. eBooks, room and board, Career Tech and Health Science fees and other program fees are not covered under MPACT. All fees are due at the time of registration.

Fees for eBook charges are associated with several courses. This allows students to have direct access to textbooks on the first day of class.  Please refer to the Tuition and Fees link above for a list of courses containing eBooks.

Typically, institutional scholarships do not cover fees. Only Foundation scholarships will cover eBooks and other fees.

Please refer to the refund policy link above to determine if you are eligible for a refund.

You can withdraw from your class online through your myNWCC portal by completing the online withdrawal form. You may also complete the form in person, in the Business Office. Students who are withdrawing and have financial aid, should contact the Financial Aid Office to determine how withdrawing will affect their aid. For more information regarding tuition refunds, please refer to the Refund Policies link above.

You can check your Financial Aid status using your myNWCC account under Financial Information/Financial Aid Status. Please verify that you have completed all other necessary steps to ensure the Office of Financial Aid can process your aid; such as verification, promissory note, entrance counseling, and student acknowledgement.

The program fee is attached to programs that are high cost programs due to the technology and supplies provided to our students in the classroom as part of the program.  All School of Health Science and Career Technical programs have an additional fee. The Nursing (RN) fee is $1200.00. The Health Science fee is $300.00. The Career Technical fee is $250.00. Special program fees are non-refundable past the refund period.

You must contact The Department of Student Housing and Residence Life at (662) 562-3305 regarding any corrections.

All resident students are charged option B, as seen in the Bulletin. If a residence hall student wants to add the weekend meal plan, or has any additional questions, you can visit the Business Office in the McCormick Building or call (662) 562-3207.

You can view your balance online via myNWCC. You can also pay your account online as well under Financial Information/Pay Outstanding Charges.

You can choose a refund preference with BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution, powered by BMTX, Inc. by visiting this link: https://bankmobiledisbursements.com/refundchoices/.  

A student must be an IN-STATE student & have an overall balance of $1700.00 or more to be eligible. Half of the overall balance and a non-refundable 25.00 deferred payment fee must be paid up –front. The remaining portion of the balance is divided into two installments.

Your tuition is charged on your student account. Monthly statements are mailed at the beginning of the month. Fall payments are due in September and October. Spring payments are due in February and March. Payment is due the last Friday of the month.

If students do not receive a bill, they are still responsible for payment. Students may view their account in their myNWCC under Student Information/View My Account.

You can change your address on your myNWCC account under Student Information/Modify My Information, or by completing a change of address form in the Admissions & Records Office.

1. Login to myNWCC on the Northwest website using your Northwest ID# and PIN.
2. Select the Electronic Document Consent option under Financial Information.
3. Add a Record for the requested calendar year and mark 'Y' to Receive Electronic 1098T.
4. Use the My 1098T option is for accessing/printing your form.
