REGISTRATION AT NORTHWEST MISSISSIPPI COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOR Spring 2026 CLASSES!

We are currently registering for Spring 2026 classes! To view the courses available for Spring 2026, click on the Course Schedule tab in myNWCC. Important dates are as follows:

All students who have not completed all steps for priority registration must sign up for classes during the open period. Tuition and fee payments are due at this time.

Here's how to get enrolled! The process is easy!

Get accepted by applying online at www.northwestms.edu/apply.
Once you receive confirmation that you have been admitted, communicate with an advisor about your program of study.
Register for classes either through your advisor or online (depending on program of study).

Payments can be made via myNWCC. Financial Aid will be available to complete Spring registration starting Monday, December 1, 2025. Need help? Click here for a video on how to complete registration.

If you have any questions, please contact our Student Services Help Line at (662) 560-5000 Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm or use the Ranger bot located at the bottom of the page. For advising questions, students can find their advisors on myNWCC or email advising@northwestms.edu. When emailing an advisor, please include your full name and student ID#.

Admissions

New Student: (Never Attended)

Apply Online at www.northwestms.edu/apply
After completing this process, please frequently check the email you indicated on your application.
You will receive an email with your student id and instructions to access your MyNWCC as well as your acceptance to Northwest.
Submit ACT scores (students under 21), final high school transcript, and college transcripts (with final grades as NWCC does not accept in-progress transcripts).
Log in to your myNWCC for your “real-time” admission status.
Once all required documents are received, you are admitted and ready to register for classes. Please check your status online before calling the Admissions office.

Residency

If residency is required, please be prepared to submit the following:

Complete the Affidavit and electronically sign the residency form here.
Proof of residency items: take a close-up picture of your driver’s license, email the most recent month’s utility/electric/gas bill, or voter registration card or MS vehicle registration receipt.
Please email all residency items to admissions@northwestms.edu. Please indicate in the subject line: SPRING2026-Name-Residency.

Financial Aid

New Student (Never Attended Northwest)

If you are attending Fall 2025, Spring 2026 and Summer 2026 complete the 2025-2026 FASFA with 2023 taxes. Please go to www.studentaid.gov.
For faster processing, please select the IRS data tool to verify information.
Enter Northwest school code (002427) on your FAFSA. Please be sure to electronically sign and your parents electronically sign (if required).
It will take 3-5 business days before Northwest will receive your FAFSA.
If additional information is required, please submit it ASAP.
Please check your myNWCC for status updates.

Returning Students:

Please make sure you complete your 2025-2026 FAFSA and 2025-2026 FAFSA verification.

Payments/How to Complete

Financial Aid: If you have financial aid for Spring 2026, you will be able to use your aid to complete your registration beginning on Monday, December 1, 2025.

Pay Online: If you are paying out of pocket, you can finalize your registration at any time by using the “complete registration/pay” option in your myNWCC. Click this page for instructions on how to complete online.
