Dual Enrollment Admissions
NWCC's Dual Education program allows eligible students to earn dual credit or be dually enrolled at NWCC. Not only does this program accelerate your academic journey, but it also provides a taste of college life and its rigors, ensuring you are well prepared for what lies ahead!
High school students may attend Northwest simultaneously if the following requirements are met:
- Dual enrolled students must have completed a minimum of fourteen (14) core high school units and a minimum overall high school GPA of 3.0 or have an ACT composite score of thirty (30) or above and a minimum overall high school GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Complete a Northwest Application for Admission. Applications may be completed online or downloaded from the college website here.
- Submit the Northwest letter of recommendation form from the high school principal or guidance counselor.
- Provide official transcripts to Northwest indicating grades through the last semester of attendance.
Special ACT requirements are in place for certain courses.
- Fees for dual enrollment courses may vary depending on the method of course delivery.
