One function of the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness is to coordinate data gathering through the use of surveys. The results of institutional surveys are posted below.
The purpose of this survey is to shed light on why students chose NWCC, what they hope to gain from attending NWCC, what difficulties they may face, and their educational goals as the semester begins. This survey is conducted each semester after registration has completed.
gREAT cOLLEGES SURVEY
The Great Colleges to Work For program is the largest and most comprehensive workplace study in higher education. It provides senior-level administrators and academic leaders with insights on the quality of the workplace experience for faculty and staff and the competitiveness of their policies and benefits. student satisfaction/exit SURVEY
The purpose of this survey is to determine the level of satisfaction that students have with the services provided by NWCC and their overall satisfaction at NWCC. Students leaving NWCC are also given the opportunity to reflect on their time at Northwest as a whole. This survey is conducted at the end of each semester.
Employee Services SURVEY
The purpose of this survey is to give employees an opportunity to provide feedback on their interactions with other departments within the college. This survey is conducted annually in the spring.
