Campuses

CAMPUSES
Northwest has three campus locations within the 11-county district it serves, as well as two off-campus sites which provide Career-Technical educational opportunities for area residents.  Our eLearning campus provides online learning through the Mississippi Virtual Community College System.

Senatobia Campus
The Senatobia campus serves as Northwest’s main campus and is the hub of administrative, athletic and performance activities at the college.  The campus features nine residence halls, a Student Union, Fine Arts Auditorium and conference center/cafeteria as well as numerous educational and administrative facilities.

DeSoto Center
Located in one of the state’s fastest-growing counties, DeSoto Center encompasses a full-service center location in Southaven as well as an off-campus site in Olive Branch.  The Southaven location offers both academic pathways and Career-Technical programs, as well as student life opportunities, a variety of student services, and a partnership with the University of Mississippi. The Olive Branch site, located near the Olive Branch Airport, offers Career-Technical training in Aviation Maintenance Technology and Commercial Truck Driving.

Lafayette-Yalobusha Technical Center
LYTC is located in Oxford’s medical district near the former Baptist Hospital.  The commuter campus offers students both academic pathways and Career-Technical programs, student services and support, and provides fun activities as well as clubs and organizations.  A recent campus beautification project has given the center a fresh look with outdoor improvements as well as upgraded interior spaces for students to study, socialize or just relax.

Benton County Career-Technical Center
Northwest offers residents in the Benton County area educational opportunities at the Benton County Career-Technical Center in Ashland through a partnership with Benton County Schools. Two Career-Technical programs, cosmetology and practical nursing, provide training beginning in the fall semester and continuing year-round.

eLearning
Northwest’s Division of eLearning provides students a completely online learning environment where they can attend college on their own schedule.
