Step 4:  Contact Instructor
Before you can begin your course, you must contact the instructor of each of your courses.  In order to ensure that the instructor is able to send you all of the information you need, be sure to include all of the following information in the E-mail that you send.
  • Your full name
  • Your Student ID Number
  • The course, referenced by course number, in which you are enrolled
  • Your mailing address
  • Your phone number, both day and night
  • Your E-mail address
  • A message explaining what you need
Keep in mind that this E-mail is the first impression that you will be making on your instructor.  Including the above information will show him/her that you have read and understood the orientation and will reduce the amount of time that you spend waiting to begin the class.
