As a student of Northwest, you have a 50 MB file space available to you (“H” drive). This file space is located on a Northwest server and is backed up daily. Saving your data to this drive is much more reliable than using a floppy disk. The “H” drive is available on campus as well as off campus.
Please keep in mind that this drive is deleted at the end of every semester. If there is something you would like to keep, put it on a jump drive or the hard drive of your personal PC.
To Access the drive while on a NWCC computer using Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, click on “File”, “Open”, and click on the down arrow of the “Look In” box and choose your “H” drive (jdoe1234 on student exchange\stuexchange-1).
