Whether you're an athlete, writer, musician, artist, or dancer, scholarship opportunities abound at Northwest. Approximately one fourth of all full-time, in-state Northwest students receive financial aid in the form of scholarships, and new scholarships are being endowed each year through donations to the Northwest Foundation. Students participating in cheerleading, intercollegiate sports, fine arts, publications, and other interest areas also receive scholarships.

All scholarship recipients must complete the Northwest Application for Admission, Northwest Financial Aid Information Form, and must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. All scholarships are awarded prior to the fall semester, and a student can receive only one type of scholarship award. Academic scholarship (Presidential, June S. Gardner, Leadership, etc.) forms must be completed by April 1. A scholarship may be altered by the amount of Federal financial aid awarded. Scholarship recipients must maintain full-time status for at least six weeks.
