Web Design using Expression Web, worth two continuing education units (2.0 CEUs), will be offered beginning in March, according to Patricia Lowder, coordinator of Continuing Education at Northwest Mississippi Community College.
The class will be held on Saturdays, March 7 - April 4 from 8:30 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. in the Tunica Building, Lab 130 on the Senatobia campus, Lowder said. The class will not meet on March 21 due to Spring Break.
The purpose of the class is to introduce Web design using Expression Web, one of many programs used to design a Web site. Participants do not need to know HTML (HyperText Markup Language) in order to take this class.
Students will have a nice site that can be published to the World Wide Web. The class will also cover setting up a domain name, Web hosting and making a checklist for getting the site up and running.
Anyone who has used Microsoft FrontPage can also benefit from this class.
The fee for the class is $75, and the instructor is Helen Williamson.
