One hundred and fifteen students on Northwest Mississippi Community College's Senatobia campus have been inducted into Phi Theta Kappa, an international honor society for students attending two-year colleges.

To be eligible to join, a full-time student must earn a 3.5 or higher GPA based upon their previous semester and possess a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. “Phi Theta Kappa offers scholarships for most universities,” stated Northwest Phi Theta Kappa adviser, James Baker. “Usually less than 10 percent of the college students are invited to join Phi Theta Kappa.”
