Claudia Burkes named the statewide student adviser for M-OADN

Northwest Mississippi Community College nursing lab coordinator Claudia Burkes has been named the statewide student adviser for the Mississippi Organization for the Associate Degree Nursing Student and Associate Degree Nursing Faculty (M-OADN). (full story)

Six new inductees were honored at the annual Northwest Mississippi Community College Sports Hall of Fame May 26 in the new David M. Haraway Center on the Senatobia campus. Inductees for 2005 include Catricia Howard, Kansas City, Mo., Memphis native Jack Peel, Mountain Home, Ark.; Potts Camp native Don Randolph; Lawrence "Bud" Young, Coldwater; Harry Adair, Ingomar; and Fred Thomas, Bruce.
