April speakers announced for Lifelong Learning program

Darrin Devault and D'Layne Smith, both instructors in Northwest Mississippi Community College's Division of Languages and Communications, will be featured in the college's Lifelong Learning programs in April.

Devault, journalism instructor and director of Public Relations, will address the Lunch and Learn guests April 21 at noon in the Board Dining Room of McLendon Center. Devault's topic will be "Another Way to See Tennessee," an online look at See-Tennessee.com, a web site featuring interesting people, places and things in the Volunteer State.

Smith will lead the April 26 Reading Roundtable session with a review of "The Da Vinci Code: a novel" by Dan Brown. This current bestseller involves secret societies, cryptology and a trail of clues hidden in the works of Leonardo Da Vinci. Smith is an instructor of broadcasting and speech.

The Reading Roundtable is a forum for senior adults to read and discuss a variety of books. Participants ar encouraged to obtain a copy of the book and read it prior to each meeting. Books may be obtained from the public library or purchased from a variety of sources.
