Grant writing seminar scheduled for May
3/26/04
"Writing Winning Proposals," a grant writing seminar, will be offered by Northwest Mississippi Community College May 6 and 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., in Howard Coliseum's Hall of Fame Room on the Senatobia campus.
This intensive hands-on seminar will be taught by Bob Bradley, assistant director of the Center for Energy studies, an energy policy research unit at Louisiana State University.
Topics for discussion include the cover letter, the abstract, the budget, attachments, strategies and more.
"This seminar is for the inexperienced and the experienced proposal writer who wants to learn how to write hard-hitting, fundable grant proposals," said Patricia Lowder, coordinator of Continuing Education.
The fee for the two-day seminar is $195 if the registration is received on or before April 30. After that date the fee is $225.
