New Kid's Kollege trip set

Northwest Mississippi Community College Kid’s Kollege is offering a new tripTravel, Fun, and Learn - The Atlanta Expedition set for Aug. 2-4, according to Patricia Lowder, coordinator for Continuing Education. The trip is open to youth and their families.
Tour guides will be Northwest science instructors Robin Robinson and Bud Donahou. The group will leave Northwest Wednesday morning, Aug. 2. While traveling, the group will have fun learning about GIS using GPS navigation systems. There will also be time for swimming and other adventures on Wednesday after arriving in Atlanta.
Thursday a full day of fun and adventure is planned at Six Flags over Georgia.
Friday morning, the group will visit the World’s Largest Aquarium. At the aquarium, visitors will see more than 100,000 animals representing 500 species from around the globe. The group will return at approximately 10 p.m.
The cost of the trip is $215 per person. This includes travel, motel accommodations (continental breakfast) and admission to The Georgia Aquarium and Six Flags. Transportation will be on a chartered bus provided by Callihan Charters.
Youth ages 10-17 may travel without an adult. Parents who would like to go as a chaperone are welcome as long as space is available. Children under 10 years of age must have an adult accompany them.
Registration will be held only on July 13, from 1:30-5:30 p.m. and July14, from 10 a.m.-noon, in the Office of Continuing Education located on the ground floor of Tate Hall on the Senatobia campus. Parents or legal guardian must register the child and provide a copy of insurance card and current photo of child. Registration is on a first come, first served basis.
