Summer registration SOARs!

Students meet with faculty advisers in the second week of Northwest Mississippi Community College's Project SOAR (Student, Orientation, Advising and Registration). After attending a brief orientation session, students are able to meet with advisers and register for fall classes. SOAR sessions will be available each Tuesday-Thursday through July 27. Second Summer School session set for Northwest

Northwest Mississippi Community College is offering another summer school term this year which will begin on Monday, July 3 and continue to August 1. Registration will be held on June 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Academic classes will be offered at all three campuses. Career-technical classes will only be offered at Senatobia and Southaven.

Courses will also be offered through the Mississippi Virtual Community College. For information regarding the summer classes visit www.msvcc.org.

Fees for summer school are as follows: in-state part-time, $80 per semester hour; in-state per-three hour course, $240; out-of-state part-time, $155 per semester hour; out-of-state per-three hour course, $465. A $20 lab fee, or other miscellaneous fee may apply for certain courses.

Admissions requirements, regulations, and academic standards for the summer sessions are the same as those of the regular term. For more information, contact the Northwest Admissions Office at (662)562-3219.
