Northwest Mississippi Community College's February Reading Roundtable will feature the book “Eat, Pray, Love: one woman’s search for everything across Italy, India and Indonesia,” by Elizabeth Gilbert.
The book will be presented by Maggie Moran, public service and reference librarian at Northwest. The session will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26 in the R. C. Pugh Library on the Senatobia campus.
The author sets off on a year long quest to bridge the gulf between body, mind and spirit following a divorce, an affair, and a debilitating depression.
The purpose of the program is to provide a forum for senior adults to read and discuss a variety of books during the course of each semester. Discussions will be led by faculty at Northwest.
The March Reading Roundtable will be held on Tuesday, March 25 and will feature the book,”Freakonomics: a rogue economist explores the hidden side of everything” by Stephen Levitt and Stephen Dunbar.
