The purpose of this class, which is being taught by Jill Morris, is for students to learn origins and history of dance, develop coordination and rhythm, establish body and special awareness, and to gain a basic knowledge of fitness and nutritional needs as pertains to dance. Students do not need partners. This class is excellent for senior citizens. The fee for the class is $95 plus $25 for shoes.

It can be fired in a kiln resulting in a piece of fine silver (.999) jewelry. Carol Stroud, the instructor for the class , will fire the pieces and give ideas for finishes and polishing. Ceramic or jewelry experience is not necessary, but would be helpful. Students will make about five pieces of jewelry. The class will be held Sept. 21-Oct.12 from, 6-8:30 p.m. in the Haraway Center, Room 102A. The fee is $60 plus an additional $90 for supplies.
