Non-credit classes continue at DeSoto Center

The final installment of non-credit classes for spring '04, offered through the University of Mississippi and Northwest Mississippi Community College, has been set according to college officials.

Excel: Intermediate teaches the advanced functions and formatting features of this program. Jimmie Lou Sparks will teach the class April 24 and May 1 from 9 a.m. to noon. The fee is $60.(Prerequisite: Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Excel)

Word: Intermediate is designed to expand your knowledge of basic word processing features. Students will create tables, use graphics and design pages. Kelli Charnes is the instructor, and class will be from 9 a.m. to noon on May 1 and 8. The fee is $60. (Prerequisite: Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word)

Introduction to Spanish II is the third class in a series that focuses on communication and simulates real-life situations. Lea Wills is the instructor. Dates are May 1 and 8 from 9 a.m. to noon. The fee is $35.
