Non-credit classes continue

The final non-credit classes of the fall semester on Northwest Mississippi Community College's Senatobia campus have been scheduled.

Microsoft FrontPage with instructor Helen Williamson, will be held Nov. 1-22 on Mondays from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in Room 301 of the Berry Building. Students will learn how to use this software application to create and manage Web sites. No experience in HTML coding is required to take this course. Students should be proficient in Windows and Microsoft Word to enroll in the course. The fee is $50.

Making Beaded Jewelry will be taught Nov. 2-30 on Tuesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. Tina Carrington will teach the class in the McLendon Student Union's Board Dining Room. The class features beginner, intermediate and advanced levels of basic jewelry stringing and design. Students will learn how to use tools for bending and crimping and how to choose clasps and dangles. Items to be created include bracelets, necklaces, earrings, fan pulls, lamp covers, Christmas ornaments and more. The fee is $35, and beads and supplies are included.
