Annual Bridge benefit held at Haraway Center

The fifth annual Northwest Mississippi Community College Foundation Scholarship Bridge Benefit was held Oct. 20 in the David M. Haraway Center on the Senatobia campus. Winners were Mildred Cleveland of Olive Branch, first place winner of a $100 savings bond from Sycamore Bank; Martha Slocum of Coldwater, second place winner of a $75 gift certificate from Plaza Jewelers in Batesville; Martha Pearson of Batesville, third place winner of a $50 savings bond from BancorpSouth of Senatobia; Julie Golden of Olive Branch, fourth place winner of a $50 savings bond from Cornerstone Bank of Senatobia; Margaret
O' Keefe, fourth place winner of a $50 savings bond from Peoples Bank of Senatobia; and Gene Brown of Batesville, sixth place winner of a gift bag from First Security Bank of Batesville. Proceeds from the benefit are placed in the endowed scholarship funds honoring the memory of Alice Carter, Ruby Chain, and Jane Haraway, all of Olive Branch.Participants in the 2005 benefit were from Batesville, Coldwater, Hernando, Nesbit, Olive Branch, Senatobia, Southaven and Walls.
