Spring registration at Northwest Mississippi Community College will continue through
Tuesday, Jan. 17, at all campus locations—the main campus in Senatobia, DeSoto Center in Southaven/Olive Branch, and Lafayette-Yalobusha Technical Center in Oxford.

New students must complete the admissions process in order to register. The following items must be on file in the Registrar's Office prior to registration: a completed application for admission; an official copy of ACT or SAT scores (ACT required for Mississippi residents); an official copy of a transcript from an accredited high school that includes a graduation date and signature of school official; and an official copy of college or military transcripts from all colleges attended or an official copy of GED scores (if applicable).

Adult students 21 years of age or older at the time of registration are not required to submit ACT or SAT scores unless the student's major program requires a certain score for admittance.

General fees/tuition for all full-time students per semester are $850. Out-of-state students pay an additional $1,000. Part-time in-state students pay $80 per semester hour, while part-time out-of-state students pay $155 per semester hour. Lab fees will also be assessed for students who are taking a laboratory course, and special fees may apply for those taking a music, allied health, or nursing course.

Northwest offers nearly 75 online courses taught by Northwest instructors through the Mississippi Virtual Community College (MSVCC). In addition, the MSVCC gives Northwest students access to hundreds of other online courses offered by the state's community colleges, and students receive Northwest credit for completion of approved courses.

Students wishing to take Virtual Community College courses must apply for admission to Northwest using the same admissions procedures as for day and night classes.  Registration for online classes continues through Tuesday, Jan. 17, and students may register at any campus. Online classes will begin Monday, Jan. 16.
