• Complete at least 12 hours of coursework toward an associate degree
• Have a cumulative 3.50 grade point average

Process: Once you are eligible, you will receive an invitation (usually by mail or email) to join the chapter at the Northwest campus you attend. If you think you may be eligible for membership but have not received an invitation, contact your Northwest campus chapter advisor.

• Enter the passcode found within your email/letter
• Edit/Enter an email that you regularly check (personal or school)
• Edit/Enter personal information and phone number
• Create a PTK password
• Enter demographics (optional)
• Do not buy merchandise at this time
• Enter your payment information
• Click on complete order

Based on the official transcripts, those eligible are notified the following semester. A student is eligible as long as they have met the minimum requirements. Chapters hold an induction ceremony for new members to be recognized. Communications are conducted through a chapter PTK canvas page. Communications include chapter voting, scholarship information, campus and service activities. If your cumulative GPA falls below 3.5, you are not removed from membership; however, be aware that upon transfer, Universities will recalculate GPA to determine eligibility for PTK scholarships. Chapter officers are determined by chapter bylaws and serve a year term. Those interested in scholarship opportunities for transfer should access the national website. Graduation regalia includes a stole that can be purchased through your chapter and a tassel that was included in your membership packet.
