Adult Student Scholarship
These scholarships are limited in number and awarded to Mississippi residents. Applicants must be 25 years of age and a full-time student. Scholarship applications are reviewed by a committee and awarded based on financial need, credit hours previously earned and academic achievement. The application form will be available in November 2014.
QUALIFICATIONS AMOUNT PER SEMESTER
Must be a resident of the state of Mississippi. Must be 25 years or older to qualify for an Adult Student Scholarship.
Northwest application for admission and high school transcript/GED scores or college transcripts on file in the Registrar’s Office. Must be enrolled in 12 or more hours and entering in the fall or spring semester. Completion of Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required. www.fafsa.edu Must maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA each semester to retain the Adult Student Scholarship.
Amount: Up to $560 toward tuition and fees.
Student must have an application for admission on file with the Registrar’s Office. High school transcript or GED scores must be on file with the Registrar’s Office. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) www.fafsa.ed.gov
