NORTHWEST FOUNDATION MAIN PAGE
The Northwest Mississippi Community College Foundation was established in 1975, for the sole purpose of fostering the mission and goals of NWCC. In 1978, the Foundation was directed by the NWCC Board of Trustees to serve as “the official recipient of all restricted and unrestricted gifts to the college.” It is the mission of the NWCC Foundation to actively solicit funds from such constituent groups as alumni, business and industry, civic organizations, and any interested individuals; to manage these funds responsibly and effectively; and to distribute these funds in a manner that will enhance the vision of NWCC. The vision of NWCC is to transform our students’ lives, enrich our communities, and strive for excellence in our educational programs and services.
The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions to the Foundation are deductible to the extent permitted by law.
HOW TO TAKE PART:
We chose Homecoming Day as our Day of Giving as it is a time when all are proud to be a part of the Northwest Family. Many alumni return to honor fellow Rangers, faculty and staff boast their pride, and many friends of the college come to campus to support Northwest. It just felt right to deem this momentous day as Rangers Giving Day. I hope you will answer the call and give on October 10!
