Who is the Early Childhood Academy?
The Early Childhood Academy on Northwest Community College campus in Senatobia is open to provide high quality technical assistance, coaching and professional development training to childcare providers and families throughout our service area.

The Early Childhood Academy’s Resource and Referral Center is located on the Northwest Mississippi Community College campus.  The ECA will service childcare providers and families in Tate, Panola, Marshall, DeSoto, Quitman, Tallahatchie, and Lafayette, along with Yalobusha, Tunica, Grenada and Calhoun counties. Our services include on-going high quality technical assistance and professional development training for early childhood professionals, in addition to individualized coaching sessions.  ECA provides referral services for teachers and family, along with resource lending and monthly engagement activities.  We service parents and families, early childhood teachers, and work closely with community partners.  Our center is a place to play!  We have learning materials, books, blocks, sensory supports, puzzles and more are free to check out for teachers and families for a scheduled return. We are located in the basement of Berry Building on NWCC Senatobia Campus.

From Main Street Senatobia:  Take 51 going North.  Then take a left on Thompson Street, and a right on West Street.  We are located in the back parking lot of the Berry building.  You will see our Early Childhood Academy sign on the glass door.​
