As a part of our continued effort to provide all students and employees of Northwest Mississippi Community College with a safe environment, the College has partnered with Campus Cast to host our RANGER ALERT system.
Campus Cast does not require you to sign up for the service, but you must have an active cell phone number listed with the college. For STUDENTS you may log onto your myNWCC (https://sys.northwestms.edu:444/accprdws/isclogin.pgm) and update your cell phone number if you did not list one on your application with the Office of Admissions and Records. For FACULTY and STAFF please contact Human Resources and have them add your cell phone number to your information if you have not previously listed one.
Northwest will use the RANGER ALERT system to send notifications related to inclement weather, school closings, campus information, and emergencies on campus. These alerts will be sent to your Northwest email account and via text message to the cell phone you have listed with the College. We will also post RANGER ALERTS related to school closings and emergencies on campus to Twitter and Facebook accounts controlled by the College.
In the event that you do not wish to receive any of the alerts simply text STOP after receiving a RANGER ALERT via text message. To stop emails, click on the link attached to any RANGER ALERT email you receive.
