Requirements: Age 25 years or more, enrolled in 15 or more hours, must complete FAFSA, must maintain 2.5 cumulative GPA. Admissions Application. Scholarship applications are reviewed by a committee and awarded based on financial need, credit hours previously earned and academic achievement. Must be a resident of Mississippi.
Deadlines: Fall semester – apply by July 1st. Spring semester – apply by November 1st.
Amount: up to $635
Toward: tuition and fees per semester. Does not cover books. Payable for 2 years (Fall & Spring semesters).
HOW TO APPLY
Step 1. Application for Admission to Northwest Mississippi Community College. Complete the Application for Admission form and attach a second copy of your GED transcript.
Step 2. Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Complete the form at www.fafsa.gov . (In order to receive a scholarship award you must complete the FAFSA).
Step 3. Complete the Adult Scholarship Application form below.
The Adult scholarship will be open for applications in April 2017 for the Fall 2017 semester.
