Ed Carroll – Assistant Director of Campus Life and Housing
Coach Carroll came to the Office of Campus Life and Housing in 2008 after serving as Assistant Football Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Northwest. He has previously coached and taught at both the high school and college levels. He has experience in marketing and public relations in corporate America. Coach Carroll holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Simpson College, a Teaching Certificate from Northwestern State, and has completed two years of study at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Science.
Atavis Campbell – Residence Life Coordinator
Atavis Campbell came to the Office of Campus Life and Housing in the summer of 2014 after serving in multiple roles in the workforce. He has previously coached and taught at both the high school and college levels. He has experience in the United States Marine Corp, Law Enforcement and Resident Life Community. Coach Campbell holds an Associates of Art Degree from Holmes Community College and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Education from Delta State University.
Chanmeika Hill – Residence Life Coordinator
Chanmeika joined the Residence Life professional staff in July 2014 as a Residence Life Coordinator. She oversees the operations of all female residence halls and Desoto Hall. Additionally, she advises students with academic concerns, promotes educational community programs, and other administrative duties. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Victory University (Memphis, TN) and a Masters of Educational Leadership from Concordia University (Portland, OR).
Suzanne Geeslin – Coordinator of Housing Operations
Mrs. Geeslin joined the team in 2009. She has previous experience in the medical and automotive fields. She is responsible for housing assignments and administrative duties within the Campus Life and Housing Office. Mrs Geeslin is a graduate of Northwest.
