Sycamore Bank makes generous donation to Ranger football program

For a sixth consecutive year, Sycamore Bank has presented the Northwest Football Foundation with a gracious monetary gift that will be used for the Ranger football program.

Chairman and CEO Jay Tindall and director of marketing Ashley Gordon-Smith presented first-year head coach Jack Wright with a check for $10,000 on Monday, May 5 in Senatobia that will help fund summer youth football camps and the High School Senior Showcase in July.

“We really appreciate Sycamore Bank and this gift,” Wright said. “Outside of using the money for camps, these funds will help implement our students’ academic game plan by providing tutoring and basic school supplies such as binders, loose-leaf paper, pens, etc. for our student-athletes.”

Northwest will kickoff the 2014 season at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 28 against Jones County.
