Pre-registration for the Fall 2014 semester for current students will take place Monday- Thursday, April 7-10 from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. and Friday April 11 from 8:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. Students can pre-register by appointment April 14-30.
Pre-registration is not just a chance to sign up for classes. It is a chance for students to talk to their advisers about their futures. Students are encouraged to take the time to make an appointment with their advisers, so they can get the classes they need to graduate and talk about preparing for successful transfer to the four-year college or finding a career after graduation.
There are millions of scholarship dollars out there for transfer students, but a lot of scholarships require early application and letters of recommendation. Students should talk to their advisers about the schools they are interested in transferring to. They can help make sure you are taking the right pre-requisites for your program of choice and help you with what you need to apply for scholarships.
If students don’t know what their major will be or what four-year college they will attend, they are encouraged to check out www.collegefish.org to help search for the college and scholarships that are right for them and talk about their options with their adviser.
Due to the change in the college’s computer system, students will not pre-register for summer classes when they meet with their advisers in April. They will only pre-register for fall classes.
