POSITION: Career-Technical Counselor
QUALIFICATIONS: Career and Technical Education Counselor: Each full-time and part-time Career and Technical Education Counselor must possess: A Master’s degree and a minimum of two years of teaching and or related work experience in areas such as employment counseling, academic counseling or human relations; five or more experience is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide individual and group counseling to students on personal needs and career goals; assist career-technical instructors with enrollment, retention, and standardized testing; assist in tracking students throughout the career-technical curricula including completion and placement through documents required by the State Department of Education and the State Board of Community and Junior Colleges; other duties as required.
