DeSoto Center respiratory care students gather items for nursing home residents

Residents at Ashland Health and Rehabilitation Center received Christmas gifts from the Northwest Respiratory Care Society. The Respiratory Care Society is an organization comprised of students in Northwest Mississippi Community College’s Respiratory Therapy Program, located at Northwest’s DeSoto Center. The club adviser/program director is Debra Lenox. The students had a raffle during the annual Respiratory Care Week and used the proceeds to purchase toiletries for all the residents at Ashland Health and Rehabilitation Center.
