Northwest MI-BEST students receive Angel Tree gifts for their children

Northwest Mississippi Community College’s Mississippi Integrated Basic Education and Skills Training (MI-BEST) leaders started an “Angel Tree” to help their students’ children have a better Christmas. The students, who are in school full time and not employed, gave the names and a gift suggestion for their children 12 years and under. The Angel Tree wishes were filled by the generosity of the Wesley Sunday School Class at Senatobia First United Methodist Church. Showing off the tree (l-r) are Elizabeth Kairit, MI-BEST Coordinator and Rachelle Washington, MI-BEST Student Navigator. (Photo by LaJuan Tallo)
