Right, These Northwest Mississippi Community College Nursing students were recently inducted into Northwest’s Gamma Zeta chapter of Alpha Delta Nu, a national nursing honor society. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA in nursing classes and overall. Left, Northwest Mississippi Community College nursing student Carla DeLucia of Olive Branch, left, was the recipient of a $1000 scholarship from the Mississippi Nurses Foundation. The scholarship was made possible by the Emma Burdonne Young Scholarship Fund. Young was a nurse in the Gulfport area for more than 50 years. Presenting the scholarship was Rosalyn Howard, executive director, Mississippi Nurses Foundation.
