DeSoto Hall is an apartment-style hall that was converted from faculty housing to student housing in 1999. It is a co-ed facility with males and females housed in separate buildings around a central courtyard. 59 students are housed in this facility making it the smallest of our halls. Hall apartments consist of two bedrooms, a kitchenette, one bathroom, and a living area. There are two styles of rooms the Deluxe and the Standard. Deluxe apartments are larger with the addition of a half-bath and a separate laundry and study room.
Students find the smallness of the hall one of its greatest attributes because they are able to develop a real sense of community around the hall. Many evenings are spent grilling hamburgers and visiting around the gated courtyard.
