MISSION.
The primary mission of the Fine Arts division of Northwest Mississippi Community College is to provide students of the performing and visual arts with opportunities to showcase their skills and talents, thereby helping them to discover a passion for excellence and developing their ability to express themselves within their chosen discipline. Students who wish to major in Art, Music Education or Theatre should attend the Senatobia campus. Only Fine Arts electives are offered at the other campuses.

In addition to academic courses, students will also take part in Fine Arts Productions, Music Ensembles, Art Exhibits, and clubs. The Theatre Department presents at least three productions every year, including a musical. The Music Department presents performances by the Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Steel Band, Percussion Ensemble, Marching Band, Jazz Band, Northwest Singers, and The Entertainers. The Art Department presents numerous art exhibits each semester which showcase the students and faculty of NW as well as famous artists from other areas.
