The Office of Veterans Affairs is available to assist all eligible veterans and dependents in completing applications for educational benefits.

All students seeking veterans benefits must comply with Northwest Mississippi Community College admission requirements, must be enrolled in a degree seeking curriculum, and must be in satisfactory academic standing.

Verification of enrollment cannot be submitted to the veterans administration until an approved registration schedule has been submitted to the VA certifying office each semester.

The approximate processing time for approval of veterans benefits is 60 to 120 days after submission of the application. Please plan ahead for this delay.
