Tryouts will be open to both male and female cheerleaders this year. Co-ed stunt group and all-girl stunt group positions are available. The squad cheers at football games and at all home basketball games and is actively involved in the community and promoting athletics on campus.
Practices are in the afternoons Monday through Friday with occasional Sunday afternoon practices, as necessary. There are eight positions available for base cheerleaders, four for back spots and four for flyers and six for co-ed bases. Scores will be kept in three separate categories and the best in each category will make the squad.
